...it fits. Had to let almost all the air out of the tires, but it's in there.

Now I don't have to work on it outside in the cold. :woot:

I know if anyone would appreciate this (or be envious) it would be my fellow CK5ers.

Must be nice. I would love to wrench on money in my garage. I want to get some rollers like Bret(sweetk30) has.,

I have my projects in my garage all the time.:dunno:
I even had my lifted waggy on 35" tires in my garage all the time, just had to take the spare off the roof to get it in, and it has a roof rack too.:dunno:
Now I have it on stock tires and can put some parts and stuff on the roof.
And our winter isn't as bad as Mass, but I still don't want to work outside if I don't have to.
:eek1:

All of my trucks fit in the garage, I could even put them in all at once if I wanted to... wait, does a poll barn count as a garage? :doah:

I've done the air out, and roller things before, they both suck.

New house on base I got lucky. We got a single floor house, and as such, it is handicap accessable. That gave me a taller and wider garage than the two story houses.

Not supposed to do vehicle maint here, but I already tore the frontend apart and rebuilt it, soooo...

I don't remember why but i had to put the 2500HD in there before. It fit but i couldn't work on it, just no room to move around it. Must have been right after getting detailed and some rain was coming or something like that.

Not sure how much work I can do in there, don't think I could jack it up enough to get a tire off. But maybe I can get to some of the rust repair.

I would love to have garage or shop even if i had to roll it in on some lowrider size wheels.....working outside in 25 degrees when the sun goes down sucks:zombie3:

Nice.

I've purposely built my two trucks so they fit in standard garages. Gave up some capability but I can wrench on them in the relative heat and dry.

Brian, I know how you feel... My blazer fits (barely) and its stock! I think I did get it in there once with the 33's on it but I had to back it in with the top off! The garage is an old carport that was closed in and insulated. The door is smaller than a standard 9'x7', if the door isn't held in place just right then the truck won't clear. But it has a heater and its better than being out when its -40!! :yikes:

-40?!!! I aint even getting out of bed if it's that cold. No thanx. :haha:

I did have to force the garage door up a bit too. And it wanted to keep rolling back down just enough to hit the truck. So, I grabbed a blue tie down (you can see it on the floor) to hook it to the door and hold it. I pulled the door just enough to reach a place to hook it.... pulled the door a bit too far and the last set of rollers came out of the track and the top section of door swung down and hit me in the back of the head. :doah: I swore and then put the door back together. Got the truck in and shut the door.

Later that night, about 11 o'clock, I had to put some things in the basement. It was really cold down there. Light dawns on marble head... I put the top of the door in the wrong track. The top set of rollers was in the lower track, tilted in at the top, letting in all the cold outside air. Now I had to fight with that again, even had to call the wife down for reinforcements. She wasn't thrilled.

LOL. Well it hasn't been that cold yet (knock on wood) but we have been known to get there.

My garage door is finicky too. The top panel is bent a bit and it doesn't quite sit right so sometimes I have to push it up to try to avoid the door opener bracket. I have already scratched the roof once on my new black paint job :doah:

I had to trim a bracket on the garage door opener, air down the tires, get both my dad and I (big guys) in the truck and even then the roof squeaks on the weather strip around the door opening when we back it in. :)

I do my winter storage and work in an old chicken barn.... Lol. No there arent chickens in it anymore, its owned by my bosses grandma who lets me work on stuff in there, normally just write her a nice check for xmas for the electricity i use. Its old and nasty but its a roof and electrical. Still cold but oh well.
