Got bored after I put a replacement grille in my blazer (last one had been knocked out) so I grabbed my scorpian and headed to a dirt/rock pile back in death row at work. I am always impressed at how well this thing works for a walmart brand RC. Although it never would make it all the way to the top, it would dig itself holes in low range or bounces to much in high and flip. I need to get a real radio and Electronic Speed Control and that little guy.

Then I figured...why the hell not:doah:

Would of made it higher but my receiver hitch got me hung up enough my front tires were starting to dig:rolleyes:

Poser shots of the century...lol

custom built is the only way to go, 4 wheel steering, front/rear/center locked up and a 55t lathe motor.

They sure are a blast, check out my latest creation up for grabs...

1/5 scale baby! Nothing says fun like a 26cc weedwacker engine singing a tune through a Jetpro expansion chamber pipe. Shoot I'll work out something for CK5 guys, I didn't know so many of you were into r.c.

I had a traxxas t-maxx.. sold it to someone here a while back.. cant remember whom... I have been wondering how he made out with it....

had $1500 into it... sold it for $500....:doah:

im thinking about getting a kyosho nitro blizzard.. and put a truck body on it... most likely a grave digger body as the motor is in the front...

I know they are slow.. however I can try and mod it later...

Custom eveything pretty much. Locked E/T-Maxx axles, aftermarket chassis, cut/narrowed/grooved Kong tires. I made all the links out of all thread and then sleaved them with alluminum rod. The rear is locked but the front is still open. Modded tranny with 55t lathe motor and lower gearing. And jsut for bling, the EXT body and gold wheels :pimp:

My old tuber. R.I.P.:(

i was hoping you'd chime in.

I'm thinking of selling it. I sold the axles about a year ago and I still haven't built new ones. SO I am thinking of selling the chassis and body and keeping all the electronics for future use.

I should have built an RC car. I could have made a cage out of brake line and JB weld and saved a lot of money.

JB weld won't hold it together. You better weld the brakeling or your gonna break. :doah:

jb weld holds everything....

my dirtbike had a crack in the case.... nothing would stick due to the high rpms .. but jbweld was soo good :haha:

Don't get me wrong, I love JB weld. I too used it on a dirtbike once. But in order to hold 2 peices of brakeline together to create a strong ebough joint, it's gonna take a lot of Jb weld at each node.

I gotcha.. I was just messin... in that case you would want to use big league chewing gum... strong but yet plyable for when you roll it.. it will allow some give then bounce back to shape... :haha:
