photoshop us a bright red version for comparision...because the orange looks good and would be bright so as not to blend in, but it reminds me of a railroad truck, they are orange like that around here so either jon deer yellow with green accents or bright candy apple red metal flake w/ silver accents

My new grill finally got here from www.HartleyTNT.com.
They donated this to my "Trail Clean up" project. KC Highlights donated the lights you see mounted in the grill.
Since I am not sure what color I am going to paint the truck yet I am also not sure what color to paint the grill. So what you see here is bare metal. I just wanted to test fit it to make sure everything was going to fit right.
I was also curious how it mounted before I got it so I included a quick mounting picture. Just have to drill 4 quick holes and its done.
I like it!! What do you think?

Looks great. The 73 and 74 models are a through bolt system.
75-80 use factory bolts to mount to the radiator support.

Thanks for the install picts...:D

That is a righteous-looking grille. I have not seen anything like that before, and I'm usually not a fan of custom grilles.

I originally voted to leave it tan, but if you've got your mind set on painting it, I like the orange. Or if you really wanted to make it stand out, you could do a camo wrap. If my paint wasn't in decent shape, I'd wrap my K5 right now. It looks damn good when it's done right.

Mine was 1980 Dark Brown metallic tan interior t-tops chrome Hooker roll bar. 1974 Corvette 350 motor with Marvin Miller NOS, TH400 on BFG radial TAs.

I replaced the factory 85 mph speedo with a 100mph from a 1976 I believe. If I can find the pics I might post one.
