What did you break?

Tore a factory shackle in the big hot tub sliding back down. But highmarked MNorby! Changed that out with the air tools, as a foreign couple took pics. Then had a bad battery connection, clamped it down and its still holding on. Thanks to all that helped me chase it down! That was all on Hells, rest of week went great

O-ring in the PS pump then a cracked fitting was collateral damage from fixing the can. Got denied on the big hot tub on hells and got on top the waterfall on helldorado but wasn't getting the rears over before the rain started and pulled rope. Looked like Rock Pile got a few guys for sure- vroom, vroom, snap.

Broke a tail light on a tree, pulled one spring plate bolt half way out of the Dana 60, the other all the way out, and my front tires ate my fenders. :D

truck did very good this year , had no steering problems but I did waste one front shock on metal masher .

I busted a Reid Racing inner C on Kane Creek in a moment of inattention (didn't see a washout). The break was a fluke, I have stumped Dennis Reid on how this happened. The only solution he can come up with (he spent 3 days running simulations) is that the shrink fit was too tight. They hooked me up with a replacement knuckle next day aired to the campsite. I was back up and running the day after I broke.

A big thanks to Darrel from Vegas for welding my crap back together enough to get me off the trail! :thumb:

When the inner C broke it also took out my shock absorber, bent a tie rod heim and messed up the king pin bushing and spring.

Stephen hooked me up with all the parts and tools I needed to get the C re-installed at the campsite. Once I got the knuckle set up I took it down to Moab 4x4 Outpost and had them weld it on.

The only other break I had all week (I was there from Saturday the 3rd through Monday the 12th) was a hub lock on rock pile Sunday.

Didn't have anything break in Moab, but Tuesday after I unloaded the trailer and left it at the shop a hard line on the rear breaks of the tow rig decided to fail. Looks like a busted bolt was letting the line move around too much and eventually caused the line to fatigue and break.

Glad it didn't decided to fail while we were still on I-70 in the middle of the Rockies.

Severely pissed off the PS box. worked ok driving home, but not so good locked up...

Did get 13+ mpg driving the K5 home tho :)
