Okay, okay, before y'all start going off and trying to figure out why ole Bubba Ray's gotta rant about the wife in the Garage Forum, I've got two things to throw out before you blow a blood vessel; first of all, this is K5 related (nah, really it is) and two, it's a mute point since the People's Republik of Kalifornia is coming out with another assinine and bullpucky gun law at the first of the year, but I want to hear thoughts on this.

Today, I received an e-mail from the Mrs, the Xmas list and one thing she put was a CD player (yes, I still have cassette in the K5), but then she stated that the CD player would actually be for me since it's my truck. Well, I beg to differ..........She drives my truck M-F since I'm stuck driving 90 miles round trip daily and she works local. I maybe drive it once or twice on the weekend, parts runs and 4WD runs.

So the masses of CK5 please let your thoughts be known, would the CD player be given to her, mine, or "ours?"

Technically, it would be yours since it would be installed in YOUR truck. However, she would benefit from it most since she drives it more.

My wife said it requires buyers of guns after the first of the year, one must attend the hunter's safety course and an 8 hour operator's course, I guess.......

Beats the flawk out of me, I don't really don't care personally since I'm pretty handy with the iron, of course this sounds like another attempt by some city slicker butt munch who don't know their head from their a**, fawking liberal scumbags.

BTW, I need a favor from ya. Can you PM me your Barstow story please......I've got plans for it.

I am not even married and I am already used to the "assimalation" of all the "stuff". Lauren does know where line is drawn though, likewise so do I. Besides, I'm thinking this is the time to whip out the Fredricks o' Hollywood catalog and look for stuff /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif to make your list from /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif

I'd just buy her anything on the list except the CD player. Then when she says she wants one in the truck just say with a nice sweet tone, "I don't really need a Cd player honey. But if you want to put one in there, it's fine by me." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

See I had a work van so my 79 K5 sat in the driveway. The little Hotrod Murker XR4Ti pushing 20lb of boost didn't get along with my wife. Well she started driving my 79 K5 with Alpine head, 3311 EQ, Fosgate amps, twin 12 inch 5th order band pass sub woffer. That was fine because mondy through friday I was driving a company vehicle.
