What do you have to do for bb14?

Due to the Holton Hillbilly Dune Party, I need to build and install a straight front end. Reinstall the hydro assist ram and new hoses differently and clean all of the sand out of my britches.

Then quit jumping it on a bad jump in a back yard and learn how to read dunes. Had the hardest hit ever at 40mph down hill. The truck just went staight up 5 plus feet. The impact was so hard, the back came up with the front. At first I thought something had broke and we were nosing over. But it landed and kept going.

How are you looking so far?

Re-install ram and modify engine crossmember to clear it.
Make a cup for the Timbren stops to land on.

The motor should be freshened up and put back in next week! Freshen Tranny up already so it will be good! I will get the new radiator installed at that time also.
Nothing like going down to the wire again for BB!

Still need to Fab up and install extra fuel cells so I don't have to carry gas cans.
Install the Premier Power Welder again.
Get spare parts and tools mounted again.
Get my CB tuned in with a SWR meter.
Would like to make some kind of snorkel system using my hood scoop but that can get done this winter.
I got the Jana 76 Kit installed on the D60 and the 14 bolt shave kit done but I have not got any miles on them yet, need to get gears broke in!
Thumper should be ready to go!:woot:Again!

I finished up all the big stuff on my list this weekend.

I just need to spend some time under the truck greasing everything, checking welds for cracks and checking bolt tightness.

I'll be doing a shakedown run on an actual rock trail next weekend.

So where is Jason with the countdown thread? I'll be in Moab in 18 days!

Head gasket in the tow rig :doah:

Apparently three extra atmospheres of air is enough to start lifting the head on a quarter million mile Cummins, who would have thought? :haha:

Alternator is done. Now working on the AC doors in the dash. The cool air blows through defroster vents.

21 days and counting.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. Defroster vents are the default location with no vacuum. I had the same issue with my S-10, turns out I had a crack in the capillary tube that went through the firewall. A little shrink tube sleeving and I was good to go.

Replace the drag link ends- other that that- been wheelin the Blazer the last few weeks- it's ready to go.
