What do YOU have to do

I've lived in AZ most of my life. I lived in upstate New York for 6 months (winter) and Connecticut for 2 years while I was in the Navy, I couldn't wait to get back to somewhere it didn't snow. I hate being cold.

Now I have to go to pick a part yard tomorrow to cut an A/C line off of a truck. Blew a hole though the aluminum TIG welding it today.

After I drive 130 miles each way to get the RTI ramp for BB. Guess I should have started sooner.

Just finished front suck down. Now pack luggage and wash tow rig.

Picked up RTI ramp today. Got it out of the truck and on the trailer by my self. Amazing what you can do with an engine hoist.

Got a wild hair and started a rear bumper. Just using what I have.

still have to finish rebuilding my front axle... times running out and im apparently getting nowhere.. i spent 5 hours messing with the shims on the knuckle with no progress...

still basically stuck here ;x

I've got a new list of things to do before we hit the road next week:

1. Build and install sliders
2. Mount spare tire somewhere
3. Bleed my front brakes a bit better (pulls hard to the right with the new prop valve and master cylinder, was good before)
4. Take hubs off and check wheel bearings (got a funny squeak out of the front end...)
5. Install diff vent tube on the front axle
6. Check all fluid levels and top up as required
7. Build a platform to go in the back to use as a bed. Install foam mattress and bedding.
8. Finish loading up gear into the truck.

Should be able to deal with all of the above this weekend, no problem!

I'll load up Monday, and hit the road first thing in the AM on Tuesday. We're gonna drive 14hrs to Eric's place in Idaho Falls the first day then 3hrs to Kevin's place (making a stop at Tom Wood's Driveshafts in Ogden, UT) on Wednesday Morning and finish the final 5hrs to Moab from there for a Wednesday night arrival. I am staying at Slickrock Campground in site 29.

Not sure I like the sound of that. You unloaded the RTI ramp and started building a bumper with some steel you happen to have....

Now I did it.

Was going to pick a part Saturday morning with a friend. Wind was blowing at 60mph gusts. Loading a tool box in my truck, wind hit, spun me. The rebuilt hip did not like that at all. Have been laid up for 2 days now. Jimmy is in pieces. Trailer is not done. Not even sure I could get in the Jimmy to drive it. Will be in Moab even if the Jimmy does not go.

LOL you guys are making me feel better.

On last monday I thought I was getting a head cold. Took me down for 2 days for the most part. Thursday I hit myself in the head with a pry bar or possibly my fist or possibly the part I was getting out, not sure which anyway all of us were laying on the floor when I came too :eek1::eek1:

Now today the cold my whole family has had is attacking me!

Onward and upward gents

I think everyone needs to spend the next couple days wrapped in duct tape and bubble wrap.

If I can't get in the drivers side. I can't get in the passenger side either. Feeling a little better today. Taking a stab at heading to the hanger to work on it.
