What does the original 1974 Cheyenne Blazer front fender emblems look like?

I am sure someone will snap some pics or find one on the web before me but I will take some pics of mine tommorow. Took alot of the badging off my 73 before I destroyed it cause I knew I would.

All that badging is going back on the 89, that will look like a 73

I think I confirmed it myself....I queued up Jaws and Brody has the very same emblems as mine....although I just noticed for the first time that somebody screwed the emblems on...

I sincerely apologize to whoever I beat in the eBAY auction for the 2 rear Cheyenne emblems...I wasn't going to lose
:weapon41:

P.S....Those emblems look suspiciously like...like...sharks teeth...like Jaws...hmmmmmmm.....

As a matter of interest, what did you pay for the badges??

Good find on the Cheyenne emblems. I wish I could find someone that painted original emblems. All the ones I find are very faded after 30+ years. I'd try it myself but I think it would look hacked.

I think someone painted BLAZER that red color. In all the decades I've been into these trucks the only color I've ever seen from the factory was yellow.

Yours aren't screwed in either....I think that yellow is "Ochre"...I saw it on a brochure...it's the color for the bowtie on the hubcaps and the steering wheel...I bet it's the yellow in the emblems too.

Here is another whole set on eBAY

the first truck anything I ever owned was a Cheyenne emblem lol,
my dad gave it to me when I was really young, only thing left after someone stole the blazer then set it afire. Wonder where it is hmmm

the emblems on my 80 k5 have the screws..the emblem's on my 74 k5 does NOT have the screws from the front. is it just a hit & miss or are the screws not stock? i would like to know the facts on this

All of my trucks from the 70s have pins attached to the emblems. They were attached to the fenders by capture nuts that screwed on the pins. None of them were attached by screws.

My 73 and a 75 plus a 74 all did not have screws. Attached from the back.

Oddly enough I think mine were not painted at all inside the blazer just the same silver that the whole rest was

i guess they must have gone back and forth. My 74, 76 and 80 all had screws and all of buddies with similar year trucks had screwed on badges.

the body i used for full convertable conversion. had jim jimmy or something close to that! i had saved them. never seen them anywhere else, anybody have seen those before. and they were screwed from behind.

Probably gentlemen Jim

Cool. I love the old stuff. How much better these look than the crappy "Tahoe" emblem. We have no style anymore.
