What does everyone think of my beautiful frame?

Well I am in the middle of rattle canning the frame flat black with rust-o-leom profesional enamel something of the rather. I think I might cut it in half and make a couple coffee tables out of it now! Looks really sharp!

Why use a rust encapsilator when ya have no rust? crusty under-carriage that you're not gonna blast, sure.. bare steel, nope...

Drives me nuts to see someone go thru the trouble to do it right by blasting it, then not use the proper priming procedures...

zinc chromate, epoxy primer and urethane topcoat is the proper way to coat bare steel..... Tho it is a more expensive solution, but if you've gone thru the trouble/expense to blast it, a few more bucks on materials seems to be paltry imho.... throw in some metal conditioner to be exceptionally anal...

I've been using POR15 for 20 yrs, great product, but it has it's purposes and limitations... Even when using Metal-Ready and a good topcoat, there are better choices for raw steel...

Don't get me wrong, the fact you blasted it should give you many trouble-free years, as long as you topcoat it.. But as far as a bare steel, coating system I prefer more traditional methods..

This is coming from the guy who spent how much time on his electrical in his K5???

Eastwood company can be found at www.eastwood.com. They have all sorts of body and restoration tools. I've bought several products and they're all great. Not necessarily cheap, but reasonable and IMO worth it.

I'm not seeing your point here? explain the correlation please..

Are you implying that the priming method I described is way time consuming? it isn't whatsoever.... load a gun, blast... Especially considering how involved a frame-off is to begin with...

as for my electrical, it may be extensive, but the wiring itself isn't overly time-consuming.. Now, fabbing up the fiberglass e-box, fan shroud, breaker panel and dash, yes, those sucked up some time for sure...

While I'm at it, why am I justifying whether I spend lots of time on my truck projects? heck, if it's all about doing things as quick, cheap and painless as possible, I might as well be at work....
