I know there have been threads on this before, but I am curious what some of you are doing with your two-car garages to maximize space....what's the trend on shelving...benches...etc...
Most of you northern guys seem to have drywall or hardwood on your walls....down south here they seem to like to leave chipboard exposed....I am considering covering one or more walls with the corrugated tin for that old look...don't know yet...
One thing I got to do is get stuff closer to the walls to make more room in the center of the garage...so some creative benches and shelving and containers are to be considered.
I might even build a larger shed in the back yard with a high ceiling and hang my fiberglass top in there...make it a double barn door opening where I can back in...dunno...bet that costs a lot...

But my last garage I had I drywalled, built shelves on the left side (as entering) and left the right side clear, no shelves, no tools, no nothing. It's nice having at least ONE side nice and clear for moving around, and working. The back wall was an over sized table/catch all that spanned the whole wall.

Aesthetically it looks nice too, worked on a house that was set up that way. The driveway carport area was a cobblestone look that continued back and wrapped around the rear of the house as the patio.
