What does your K5 weigh?

5750 last time w/ half tank/tools/spares. but its on a diet.

i removed all the crap and brackets that have no use.

im going to single exhaust, which is kinda gay since my truck is the last year of duals from the factory.

aluminium heads on the sbc.

no top/tailgate/bumpers

steel fuel tank hanging on the rear end to a plastic one in the middle.

anything that will get my down to around 500lbs even
 
5,4xx 1/4 tank of fuel, d44/ 14ff 37's 350/350 oh and -40 lbs of recyclables :P Only place I knew of to get a scale reading around here lol.

Me too. Went to the dump on Friday, and after I offloaded, my '76 (350/350/203, stock, no lift, 31" tires) weighed 5650 with me in it, with 1/4 tank of gas.

Figure 235 for me, and about 48 pounds for the gas...roughly 5370 unloaded.
 
I knew that my Blazer was heavy. I am going to try and get it under 6000# but that could be a real challange:D

Id does not have a top (put a "72" winshild frame on it) and no tailgate. Next is narrowing the front and bobbing the rear. I also have a front bumper/winch mount that weighs about 150#:whistle:
