So the only other vette I’d consider along the same lines would be a C6 grand sport. All the Z06 suspension/brakes/tire sizing with the base engine which, still had something like 440-450 (can’t remember). They were razor sharp handling without the OMG I’m going to die feeling if you turned the traction control Nannie’s off. Put another way they are a great balance of sharp handling without blowing the rear tires off with the extra horsepower.
I don’t think the grand sports price is at the level of a C5 Z06, but I know they are less than a c6 or c7 Z06.
Yours looks great. I loved the 5 spoke magnesium wheels you could have got on the c5’s back then. The fixed roof cars have such a unique look that makes them stand out from the rest of the new balance, Jean shorts wearing normal demographic that has c5 and later vettes.
Though if I see you at a cruise or a car show with a well detailed show sign board next to it I’m going to question your sanity and possibly kick the board over.
Though it does remind me of a meme I saw the other day I can’t find now. Young guy gets a C6, has shaggy hair, sleeveless shirt, almost Cletus like. Hops in the vette and instantly his hair is short, has glasses, Jean shorts and new balance shoes. Recognizing the change he jumped back out the car and was back to normal.
He does his two more times and upon jumping out the last time the change to old corvette guy is permanent and he screams in horror!

I would love a 2013 C6 Grand Sport 427 Convertible with a manual, not sure if 2013 was the only year or not? But a C6 with the ZO6 widebody/motor in a vert would be killer.

You just described my bosses car. 2013 anniversary edition 427 convertible. Since it’s got the 427 it is technically a convertible Z06 that they never sold as a Z06. Black with the matte black stripe and black wheels it’s totally murdered out. Kudos on burnouts and donuts. You’ve officially exceeded anything most of my late model vette customers at the dealership would do. More often than not I was sending somebody over to jump start a vette because it never got driven.
