what gears to run??

Just put my 35X15.5X15 swampers on and now my truck feels SUPER sluggish...so Now I know I gotta re-gear, question is which gear ratio to go with?? Im currently running 3.42's with a TH350 trans. I was thinking maybe 3.90's?? but is that gonna be enough or Will I have to jump to 4.11's? Also, what is the Redline RPM for the 6.2l diesel??

Governed speed is 3600-3800 IIRC. I would go with 4.10 gears but depending on your highway needs you may want 4.56.

I have 35's on my 89, 6.2-th400 and I have 4.10's I'm going to put in 3.73s to get some mileage back. also to get rid of the semi floater.

are yer 4.10's from a 10bolt by chance? cuz I'd be interested if they are /forums/images/graemlins/whistling.gif

it's a 4.10 gear'd 14b semi floater, with gov loc. my front is a 373 since i sold the 410 already.
I know someone had a set of 410's for a 10 bolt in the for sale forum.

I have a front Dana 44 with 4.10's sitting in Topdowns garage that is forsale as well. $100 with no knuckles, brakes or axleshafts. Gears and carrier is already set up in the housing though with a cover.
