What happened to Ground Hawgs??

I love the look of Hawgs and the Gumbo mudders. They are an old school monster truck looking tire. I'd love a set of 17x40's a real nice size when viewed in person.

Ha I hate hawgs. My buddy runs them on his yota. From what I've seen they are way too heavy, way to wide, and dont clean well at all. Plus you get 2" less tire than you pay for. 38's measure 36, 40's measure 38's and 44's measure 42's.

Go measure a 44" bogger and a 47" Ltb and see what you come up with then. You will be suprised. Not many tire manufacturers sizes measure up.

And maybe his yota doesn't have the HP to clean them. Yeah, he may have a SB but it could only be running on 4 cylinders.

And If you want I can snap a pic of both tomorrow against the tape.

If I could find a set of 44" Gumbo's which I can't anywhere, we could cook some rice cher'.

Them 22R's are decent motors. My brother owned 2 toyotas. 1 efi and the other carb. I like d the efi a hell of alot better

AS for the grooved tires. They look better. I'd run em :D

Gumbos and hawgs run under. Super swampers on the proper recommended wheels measure true.

And yes 22re's are great motors but need gearing out the ass. 22re-turbos on the other hand can be setup to a sweet reliable 200hp.

i was wondering if some1 was going to bring up the old school gumbo mudders...i had a friend who had a set of 40'' gumbo's...the lugs on those things were about the size of a brick! i'd like to have a set of them myself! i've never liked the look of the g-hawgs, but those that are grooved look pretty good, i've never seen them in action...are they really better than tsl's in the mud?

can you still buy the large co-op gumbos..40's? and what is co-op, is it the brand?
