What happens when Genuine Gears are put to the test

IMO
Genuene Gear is pot metal crap.
All you need to do is do a side by side comparison of a GG R&P set with a Spicer R&P set and you can SEE the difference.

Couldn't find a site for genuine, but I did find their number: 800/449-0244

Did you talk to them or the reseller about warranty? I wasn't sure. I was going to check their site and see what kind of warranty Genuine claimed they offered.

I suspect you don't want to go with their stuff again, but at least if they will warranty them, you'd get SOMETHING for your hassle, even if to resell or give to someone else that wanted them.

Just a thought, you never can be sure how good or bad a companies customer service will be until you ask.

Yes, by design on a low pinion front axle, the pinion is being 'sucked' into the ring gear. So if the threads on the pinion were defective... Well this is the end result.
