I need to replace hubs cause i found them worn ou.. I currently have manual locking warn hubs. I replaced my automatic locking hubs a few years ago when one broke and the guy at 4 Wheel parts wholesalers recommended the warns. What do you run?

Yea these hubs have a white plastic piece with the metal sleeve in the middle. Well when I took it apart the sleeve is loose in the middle and the plastic looks as if it got to hot and started to melt. The other side looks fine.

You should be able to take it back to 4 Wheel Parts. As far as I know, Warn has a lifetime warranty on hubs.

I'm running Warn premium hubs. Have had them on two different vehicles & never had any problems with them. - Jay

I replaced my autos with Warn Premiums

Warn Premium, best in the business. Call Warn or take them back where you bought them, lifetime guarantee.

100%, genuine....spicers (on it when I bought it), at least until I swap in my 3/4 ton diffs, which has a brand new pair of Warn Premium externals which I bought just before my truck sucked mud into it. I've heard nothing but good about them, well except for people telling me to convert mine to internal, which I'll do when I have some money.

Superwinch all metal Hubs.. not installed yet.. and I can't wait.. anything is better than the auto hubs..

I guess I'm an oddball, I run the all steel Spicer hubs. They're awsome.

My D60 came with Mile Markers. They are in good shape except for a few nicks in the housing. I guess I'll run those as long as they last.

Manual hub question

I have a quesiton on manual locking hubs in general. When you lock manual hubs, they are locked 100% of the time, correct? I have heard auto hubs unlock and relock when you go from forward to reverse and vice-versa. Manual hubs don't do this right??
