My '93 Dodge Cummins is the newest truck I've ever owned before.

You would be correct! That explains the why. As for the when? Haha. I can't tell ya that one... probably a long while from now, but hey, gotta start somewhere.

The Dodge had an automatic (newer replacement) but I'm trading it for an NV4500 that was behind a Cummins already adapted to a 205 to use that in the Crew Cab. Now I have to swap the 4.56 axles that I just put under the Crew Cab for some 3.73's.

That sounds like the makings of an amazing towrig. Make sure to take lots of pics along the way

That's pretty much my dream tow rig

Keep us updated

Haha... yeah that would be cool too but I think my main tow rig (the Crew Cab) has priority. I know someone who has a Cummins swapped into a 32ft late 70's motorhome and it's pretty neat. And another friend of mine has a Cummins he just swapped into his '79 GMC Jimmy.

Has that Cummins been turned up at all? If not, will you turn it up at all? Also, what are your plans with that '93 Dodge cab? Thanks in advance.

I'm no Diesel expert so for now it'll just stay all stock. And the frame, cab and nose is going to a guy who rolled his truck and is going to put all his driveatrain and flatbed onto this frame.

OK, thanks for the info. You should check out the Northwest Bombers website so you can meet up with fellow diesel enthusiasts in your area so you can learn everything there is to know about that Cummins.

I'd love to do that swap myself in my '83 single cab. It'd blow minds around here :D
