Not sure where to post this. Moderator please move if inappropriate.

I have some true NOS GM door panels that I may sell (really not sure yet). What would you guys consider a fair price for them? These are '81+ black manual door panels that have never been installed. I no longer have the boxes (got wet) but I'm sure there's manufacturer markings on the back side to prove authenticity.

WWCK5D ??

If you definitely decide to sell em, pm me and I'll move this to the right forum. For now it looks like a fact finding mission...:waytogo:

Here are some pics. Oddly I couldn't find a GM badge / logo on the backside but I did take pics of the part numbers.

The brown circular blemish on the right hand panel is where I knocked a dirt dobber nest off of it. It'll clean up with soapy water.

Exactly. They're so nice I doubt I'll sell them unless they'd sell for a lot.

I hate to say it, but I think ebay would be your best shot if you want to get a decent amount out of them. Sometimes the NOS stuff brings the money. On the other hand, I've bought NOS stuff on ebay for pretty good deals too.

I thought about ebay but I've never sold anything there before so I need to figure out the fees and such.

Wow, thanks! Somehow my searches missed that one.

Anybody know what eBay charges to sell? The site conditions doesn't specify, it just vaguely says the fee is based on the final selling price.

It will wind up bein roughly 10% of your final sellin price.Ebay charges a insertion fee, final value fee,and gets a % of the shipping cost as well as chraging you about 3% for handling your money thru pay-pal.Ebay got me for over $3600 in fees last year.Like em or hate em you'll never get the exposure any where else that they provide, and they know it.

So the fees are based off the selling price now? Bunch of thieves. It used to be based off the starting price.

From the Ebay "seller and selling fees" page -

Basic Fees
Insertion fee
When you list an item on eBay, you may be charged a listing (or insertion) fee. If applicable, you're charged one insertion fee per listing, per category, regardless of the quantity of items.
Final value fee
If the item sells, you're charged a final value fee. Final value fees are calculated based on the total amount of the sale and are charged per item.
The total amount of the sale is the final price of the item, shipping charges, and any other amounts you may charge the buyer. Sales tax is not included.
For vehicle listings on eBay Motors this fee is called the successful listing fee. For listings in the eBay Real Estate category this fee is called the notice fee. Successful listing fees and notice fees are calculated differently than final value fees.

Seems conveniently vague. :surepal:

I see you paid $28.13 each. Ill give you $29 each:dunno:

Too bad they aren't tan, id actually give you a legit offer.
