What is the correct gear lube for stock, front GM 10-bolt, and stock rear differential RPO code G80 in a 1989 GMC Jimmy? There are many different opinions on this. I have already read the bulletins about not using LS additives. All of the GM part numbers recommended are no longer available. This is about the closest I found but if you read the label on the back of the bottle it says “passenger cars only, not recommended for trucks “. Strange? Why not recommended for trucks? My factory service manual calls for 80-90 GL-5, which this is??? Is this the correct one???
