What is the going price for a Dana 60 front from a late 70s chevy nowdays?

Late 70's D60's have weaker necked down shafts so not quite as much as the non-necked down shafted 60's. I wouldn't pay more than $750 for the early 60's.

If it's got 4.56 single wheel it can pull 1500 in central Texas even with its neck downs.

I see them listed for $750-1200 around here. DRW still pull decent money. Having the matching rear axle doesn't seem to effect price much.

I picked up my last D60/14B for $800 with 4.88's.

i have a fresh all gone threw 60 front with rebuilt king pins / spicer joints / non -neck down shafts / upgraded tube seals 4.10 gears and srw hubs with spicer lockouts and cant get 1k around here in the rust belt of upstate ny/pa area .

if i could get my extra 60 stuff out to cali i would be rich .

500.00 for a set , maybe 750-1000.00 if they are geared and locked .

Rockwell’s on the other hand bring big money typically 2000.00 for a take out set .

In my neck of the woods, one with DRW hubs is like right about 1000. SRW is usually around 1500. One that’s cleaned up painted and ready to go is usually 2000 to 2500, People are high where I live.
I paid 1500 for this entire truck because the guy wouldn’t give me the the D60 for 1000
