What is the ONE thing you hate about K5\'s?

We spend our Cyber lives giving props to the worlds greatest All Purpose Rig.

But what is the one thing you HATE about them? Everyone and everything has a short coming. What is it in K5's?

For me it is the front clip that i can't see over. I wish i could at least see what is going on near the nose. or maybe i can wish to be taller /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

well the one thing i hate about k5s is that they're not suburbans. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

the one thing i hate about suburbans is the fact that they didn't come in 1 ton versions.

well theres the loud tires, the loud exhaust, the cold winters, the loud noises when I'm driving it, the draft from around the doors, the way im under it, in it, or around it every weekend working on it, the way it gets 7 mpg, the mud stained paint. but for some reason... I still LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weak frames. Steering box.. same as all other GM trucks of the same generation. And at the tranny Xmember where they tend to crack.

RUST!

No factory 3/4 or 1 tons.

I guess thats it. All in all a great rig.

The one thing I hate about them now is the same thing I used to love about them before I wheeled them - THE WIDTH

The one thing I hate about my K5 is that I don't have the money to do all the mods I want. How I have too save up the money for the parts !!!!!!!!!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

The thing I really hate about my K5 is... oh wait, I don't have a K5, just an old pickup, but I also agree with not being able to see over the front. I'm just a tick under 6' 4" and I STILL can't see over the dang hood. I've driven without a hood and it really helps, plus its cool to see your motor when you're driving. But it makes your truck look goofy.

I hate the fact that I dont have one yet.

But I REALLY HATE the 2.76 gears in my /forums/images/graemlins/truck.gif. What moronic idiot thought that one up? /forums/images/graemlins/angryfire.gif

RUST. I don't see the width as a problem or the hood, I park in tight spots just fine, as far as off-roading i'm not sure.
