i'm not shure what this came out of but the rear that was in the truck that i got my front is still around. however it had a bolt on yolk like a 14bff, but i thought that the rear i would need would be a 70 like this one? help i'm lost

The rear axle that you got your Bud wheel D60 from was most likely a Cab Chassis Dually with a 14 bolt that is narrow in the WMS department.
The fleet side trucks usually came with the wide H.D. 70's and is 73" wide WMS to WMS .
Cab Chassis can be tricky because they could come with wide rear housings or narrow ones ( spring pad width is the same for each axle though ) but most came with the narrow style housings.

If I was a betting man I would say you got a Van Cab Chassis "B" series D70 . It is a good axle ! If the width is correct for your application than use it by all means. If it is narrow than you will need spacers or search for a wide GM H.D. 70 or something close.

i called him it was out of a crew cab 2wd

Stranger things have come about ??? Maybe the axle had been changed out or something to that effect ?

If it matters what it was from check the B.O.M. # and please post the results - I would be interested in knowing what it say's.

If the WMS is correct than run it - they are good axles.

i swear its a HD 10 bolt :haha:

Ha ,ha ROTFL !!!

I agree with 70Blazer - we know what "should" come in what but the best way to find out what this particular B series D70 came out of is a B.O.M. # .

That's an C&C D70 from an F350. They happen to have the same spring spacing as a GM 1-ton.

shure what you guys say, i spent some time cleaning and looking for the bom# but i have not had much luck. the guy i got it from also has a 70 that was 74" wms, i was thinking about swaping them. right now i think that i'm just going to swap the hubs out on my 60 and stick with the trusty 5.13's for now. besides i still have to finish my tranny swap. thanx for all the info on that axle and if you guys still want the bom# let me know and i will look some more, just so we know what it came from. thanx agin, jayson
