what kind of axle do i have?

That's me, I jibber jaber a lot, but don't have the patience to look for pics, and post, and I definitely don't collect pics so I can post them when the opportunity arises.
:waytogo:

lots of jibberjabber with NO PICS

theres no way to mistake an D80. it has a giant 80 cast right into the housing. and the webs are huge.

D80 rear. 80 is on the side by the pinion. not the greatest pic, but 1st one I found of one of my old diffs.

Thanks Data. pictures don't lie. since its all lip service until the OP puts a pic up. cause EVERYONE knows 3rd hand info on the internet is always right.

Demon,

That truck sure looks like a ford superduty, but when I worked at the ford dealer I never remember seeing a rear axle that wasnt a sterling (10.25 I think it was) in a pickup.

dana's were in the cube trucks and C&C trucks, but never saw one in a pickup, and I pay attention to stuff like that. I remember being very impressed with the front axle joints, until the axle came out. lol

thats not even remotely close to a ford. its my old 1998 dodge 2500 24v stick truck that I had for years.
