Saw this in a 70 K5, what kind of master cylinder set up is this?

looks like aftermarket bracket to firewall for hydroboost with a older car size/style master . might be set up for 4 wheel disk on 1/2 ton size parts .

Looks like the old master cylinders for 4 wheel drum brakes with equal size reservoirs, but that truck probably doesn't still have drums.

That is a hydrobooster, but it's not the standard one that GM used in square pickups. This one has a longer nose and is rotated 180 degrees.

Here is what mine looks like.

Not sure what all the P30s got for boosters, but my brother's '82 P30 uses this same booster.

You can get an early Corvette master cylinder for 4 wheel discs or disc/drums that looks identical also...also there is a manual version for both with a 1" piston...

Looks kind of like a vette disc disc master. Probably mounted the hydroboost upside down to look cleaner under the hood.

The flange for the M/C on this hydroboost extends past the cylinder at the side. On our hydroboost units the cylinder extends past the flange (making it a little bit harder to get at that nut). I think it's something different.

I believe they used that m/c casting on drum brake equipped cars as well.
I have the 67 4 Disc m/c on my car.
