What Pinion Shims for 4\" lift

I would like to know what degree of pinion shims you guys are using with a 4" lift in the rear not the front? Thanks for the help.

I have a 4" lift, 14 bolt FF in the rear (duh), and I am using a 4 degree shim. I have no vibes whatsoever and I've had the truck past 90 MPH. I do have one of the longest possible driveshafts for these truck though, I have the NP 205/SM465 combo. My U-joints also seem to last pretty long.

I have a Skyjacker 4" lift on my 90 jimmy 10 bolt np241, and my pinion leaf spring shim is a 4 degree. I also had to add and extra washer along with the t-case drop spacers, it gave me an extra correction degree, and gave me 8 degrees at both ends. I am assuming your asking this because your having vibes from a new lift?

Will work for parts, beer and sex.

Are the brass shims readily available? Is this a part you carry and if so how much do they run usually?

I could measure it if you want. The rear driveshaft and the front came with the complete 3/4 ton drivetrain I bought 3 years ago. Someone else must have had the driveshaft altered.
I do know the SM465/NP 205 combo is the shortest out there for us, which means the longest rear driveshaft.
