I'm running a 4 row diesel radiator - MASSIVE.

There is a place here called croford radiator ill call them

If your gas, double check the outlets vs hose sizes. I had to change the top outlet on mine to match my hose.

yall asked him about that if it don't cost too much I'll have him do it

If they do it right - rod it, chemical bath, re-braze the cores on the sides - then I'd say it's money well spent. Should be good as new.

I bought a radiator from NAPA in 2010, hasn't given me a bit of trouble in approx 21,000 miles (I don't drive the truck much).

If I remember right, mine was listed for a 454 - 4 row/heavy duty cooling. Just s stock style at first, then they phased out the all metal units and replaced with plastic tanked/aluminum core. Fits the same as factory radiator from side to side, top to bottom, but it just thicker.

I had to warranty out the all metal unit, then they gave me the plastic tanked/aluminum core one, I wasn't too thrilled about it, but it's lived longer so far than the all metal one.

Only slight modding to the fan shroud to make it all fit right.

Never had a problem with overheating, also running heavy duty cooling fan clutch and still using 195* t-stat.

Towed plenty with it like that, up hills throughout Arizona and on the way to Indiana, never hit anything higher than 210. but would drop immediately once heavy load was removed from the engine.

91 vintage is as 33' wide

So are you saying a 91 square body with a 454 has the wider diesel type radiator?

My old 91 V3500 came with a 350 and 3 row rad that was the narrower width. I eventually swapped in a 4 row but both used the inboard set of holes on the left side of the core support.

well i got it back ended up costing 125 bucks.
got it back in and no leaks and its running the right temp

the big thing is NO MORE LEAKS!!!

that is correct you use the wide mount and the correct shroud from the two wheel square boy.
