Trying to order a vibration dampner for my Borgesen steering shaft and I can't remember the size of the steering box's splined input shaft?
Thanks
Burt

Or just the spline count might work...If not I can look tonight /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I don't know for sure but far as I know there's only 2 sizes on our trucks isn't there?

Don't know off hand.. but yes the 2x4 and 4x4 steering boxes have different size input shafts....
How do i know this? I thought i had all my parts together for my 1 ton axle swap, and crossover steering.. Well when i installed everything and then went to hook up my rag joint i realized the 4x4 box had a bigger shaft, and my old rag joint would not work on my 2wd steering box for crossover steering.
So just when i thought i had all my ducks in a row, i had to go to the junkyard to get a 2wd rag joint to complete my swap. I grabbed 2 so i'd have a spare in my tool box. /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
