I got the Springs off the Axles I just bought. Cuious as to what size they are.... Heres a couple pictures of the set and pictures of the Fronts.

They were mounted on a chevy truck and were running DC 44" Tires.

Looks Like 52 from eye to eye.

Here are the Rears... Looks like 56" from eye to eye. And a 3" lift block in there. No markings at all...

Definitely a 3" blocks.. looks at least like an 8" plus the 3" block so like 11" or 12" lift

definitely get rid of those crappy ass block.. they are too small and look homemade

best i can do in short notice....this is a 12" lift spring

remember springs are measured eye to eye along the spring surface, not straight across. What might measure 52" eye to eye might actually be 56" across the spring surface.

I measured from eye down to the middle and back up to the eye. Would that be the correct way? I had to tape the tape measure on every few inches to keep i there. I measured the inside of the Spring also.

yes that is the correct way! Nicely done.

but if you get in to realy big lift/arch springs the length of the leaf gets longer to make the same eye to eye. so be carfull on checking big springs like those.

and ya thats big lift in the last pic posted but scarry a$$ shackles. :doah:also not homemade block early style looks like skyjacker that were made like that but thay didnt last long and went to steal .

So where Im looking at going 6" max, These are pretty much useless to me?

Sell them and Recoup some cost towards a Shackle Flip and Front Springs?

Are you refering to the shackles in my truck?

actually i had to use those shackles for mock up to get proper angle and distance from the frame after moving the shackle mount forward (i used blazer springs on my K20)

take a look at this site for idea and comparison
