So how wide are those springs? the eye look like 2.5" but the centers look like 3". Very strange springs indeed.

They are exactly 2 & 7/16 the whole length. Maybe my pictures were bad. They have a total of 3 leafs. The bottom one is about 10", and the middle one ends just before the eye.
Maybe they were a 2 or 3" lift 40 years ago and now it's a 1/2" lift ?

That's what I was thinking. In the first photo, it looks like factory height - which is impossible since factory springs sag after 40 years.
That's probably a 2-3" lift that has sagged down to factory height. I like it!
