Can anyone give me the widest size of 15" AT or MT tire that can be put on a chevy S-10 4 X 4? I have an 8 inch rim and stock gears.

thanks

I worked with a guy that had 31.10.50's on his, looked fine.

Either they were way on the small side or he never wheeled it. Mine slightly rubs 30x9.50's against the rear edge of the front fender openings when crossed up and the wheel is slightly turned to one side or the other. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I put 31 x 10.5 x 15's on stock alloy wheels once for my '85 S Jimmy once... Took a lot of work with a 5 lb sledge to get them to go down the road without major rubbing. But even then they still rubbed on lock to lock turning on flat ground.

I had 31's on 15x7 rims on my 91 s10 blazer. ALOT of pounding on the front, then the tires would turn. but they would still hit the rocker rail when turning and wheeling.
