Tire Up Date
Okay it took me awhile to figure out which tire I'd go with as of today I put brand new 33x12.50x15 BFG Mud Terrain KM2's on the Jimmy. Nice tires and they drive alot better than the wore out Cooper 31's that the truck was wearing. As for the drive line vibration, I contacted DIY4X and I got them to make a set of nine degree rear axle shims. I'll try them and see how everything works. If they don't work I'll go back to the six degree shims that came stock with the Rough Country lift kit and I'll lower the T-case. It's not that I'm againest lowering the case for clearance it's just that I don't like having the shifter handle getting that much shorter. And also the increased angle would put that much more stress on the trans cross member. I dunno I'll give it a try and I'll let you know....I should of had this all done by now but I took the top off to address my persistent leaking problem. The guy I had bought the truck off of had a bed mounted roof rack and it was nothing but a leak maker. Also I found out that the truck was put together kinda shoddy and a 'B' pillar body seam has been leaking probably since brand new, good thing it was garage kept or I'd need new floors.
