Looking for a soft top. I want the best. Any suggestions. I was looking at a kayline fastrack. Is this a better top then the tigertop from besttop. The less holes I have to drill the better. Preferably none but cant seem to find one without. Any helps appreciated.

I have had two types
Old Kyline Snap top (SCT makes it now)
SCT Fasttrack is what I have now.
They both require drilling so your not gonna get away from that. Use RTV on the screws before you put then in the holes and that will keep the water out.

The new 'denim' fabric is what I got and I really like it over the older style..kinda looks like canvas.

That is a great picture...I want to try to get a top before July...driving hours with no top and no shade does nto sound like fun

Hey burt, where did you get your top from? I'm doing a full convertable conversion and need to find a good soft top from a first gen to use. Also how tight does it fit? It looks like it fits somewhat loose in the pic. It would drive me nuts cruising around listening to it flapping in the wind.

Thnx

Hey Max, That is the best kind of a softtop FREE :D
I don't consider myself a lucky person but I did get lucky last year at BlazerFest. SCT donated a softop to our raffle and I won! :D So I got it directly from SCT.
I had just got it installed when I took that pic so that is why it looks so loose. Also because of my cage I cannot use the forward bow.
You can see the unused snaps on the inside:

You can see the rails and the windows zip out is cool too.
Also I am not using the window frameing it came with.
All in all i like it. The denim vynal doesn't flap nearly as much as my old Kayline snap top did...
Good Luck
Burt

I have a STC fasttrack top. I doesn't fit all that well around the door windows but that is a small price to pay for the ability to have a full convertable truck in the matter of 15 minutes. I put some quick release pins on the bows so I can take those off at the same time. Colorado K5 sells the soft tops and I think it the first and one of the best investments any 1st gen. Blazer owner should make.

Very much worth the cash.I like mine much better than my old Kayline. It took a little while to get it to fit just right, but it's right on now.

I already ordered mine its should be here in about 3 weeks. Post some pics I want to see how it looks. Any tips for install?
