I've got everything on it's way for my crossover steering, but the 2wd box I was supposed to pull today was manual :doah:. Where can I order a sector shaft for a 2wd? I've searched damn near everything and can't find it. I assume I need to replace my pitman arm too? What other steering boxes are available to use? I've read about other people using late 80's and early 90's steering boxes from different vehicles...what can be used? I'm not using traditional ends, I'm using Monster Heim Joints.

Thanks!

Your local pick-n-pull, or you can get a whole new box from your parts house.

Pitman arm will depend on your crossover setup, but yeah, you need a new one keyed to match.

Alright, I finally found one locally on a parts truck. But, I was looking to buy one new. Crown Automotive sells repair kits for jeep boxes, including seals and bearings and a new sector shaft. The guy told me the steering box he has is real firm with no leaks so here's crossing my fingers!
