what tcase is this?

Comparing those photos to other 205 photos. THey look similar. That is definately a detached(the term is escaping me at the moment) case though...

The bottom left hand picture shows two mounting bolts on the top. All the GM case I am looking at have those two bolts on the side.

It looks like an NP200 or 201, they were used before the 205. I believe it shares some common parts with the 205. I'm not real familiar with them but I'm sure someone else wil chime in with more info.

Looks like a NP200 or 201? No tag on the back threw me off but I was thinkin maybe a divorced 205

The more I look at those photos and one of 205's on the net... That t-case looks to be larger overall than a 205.

And AK got the term I was looking for... "Divorced".. DOH! :P

I really wanna say divorced 205 but theres no idler gear cover on the backside which makes me also think its a 203
Mot likely Chevy, the fornt output is on the pass sid eof the case.

Doesn't have a reduction box so I dont think it is a 203.

Nope, not a 205. It doesn't have the 3 bolt shaft cover on the back and the "things" that move in/out to shift gears are in the wrong spots. And it doesn't look like what's in my truck.

chevy never made a divorced np203, thats a ford-only item. too bad i can't see the pics, or I could help more.

EDIT: does it have a really huge PTO cover thats way different than the one on 205's and 465's? uses something like 8 or 9 bolts...
if it does, then its a NP202 from an International.

Not a 205

Not a 203

The PTO cover is wrong to be 205 for one thing. Also all of the above comments

There is no AL reduction box so no 203.

I think Atho has it right 202?

Yes, the pics show a PTO cover that looks to be twice the normal length. It's very long. I believe you are the winner. :D

Yes it has the bigger pto cover with 8 bolts

well I did a little more digging...if it has a drum ebrake on the 2nd rear output (which no one has mentioned, I figured they would if it was there) then its a NP200 from a Dodge M37 or Jeep M715.

If it doesnt have the ebrake, its most likely a NP202 from an International. Could also be a NP201, but they are way older.

Me - Are you sure that you have a 205? It doesn't look like one to me.

Seller - It is a NP 201/205 everything is the same inside, the rebuild kit is
the same for the NP 201 and NP 205, theres no differcts other then the
looks
