This is one of the pics from my trail camera. I dont have a clue what it is. I have a bunch of pics of coons, possum, rabbits, deer, coyotes, skunks, armadillos, crows, an owl, and a bobcat or two but nothing looks like this. When i blow the pic up it looks like a small bear cub but we do not have bears around here.:confused:
Tell me what you all think it is.

The second pic was taken with my phone of a whitetail track next to my oldest sons size 6 boot. I hope i cross paths with this deer sometime or at least get a pic of him.

What part of Oklahoma are you in. The reason I ask is that my Father-in-law has a 1000 acres in Eastern Oklahoma (near Cookson, Cherokee/Adair counties) and for the past 3-4 years there have been multiple signs of bear activity ( turned over tripod turkey feeders with lids ripped off, Etc.) but no proof until earlier this year he had trail cameras take pics of black bears as well as personal sighting from other lease holders bordering his land. They believe they are coming up from Eastern Texas along with all the wild pigs. So that pic could very well be a bear cub depending on where you are.

BTW, heading to Tulsa in 10 days for the start of rifle season and T-Giving. Can't wait as the dear numbers seem to be pretty decent so long as the weather cooperates.

I live in Woods county, Northwest part of the state and pic was taken about 20 miles south of the kansas state line.

Chupicabra.

Those damn hairless snarling dogs.
:haha::haha::haha::D

I asked the local game warden what he thought it was and he said it was a coon until i enlarged the picture and now he is not sure. He assured me that it was not a bear. This of course comes from a man who works for a department that says there are no mountain lions in woods county yet i personally have seen tracks on the same place that this pic was taken.:screwy:

Good luck man and you better hurry. The bucks are chasing does like crazy and by the time rifle starts they will be winding down. I went out this morning and saw 3 young bucks chasing does. I was only there until about half an hour after daylight. Damn storm moved in and lightning started hitting the hills all around me. Figured 20 ft off the ground on a metal tree stand was not the best place to be. Ill be back after them again wednesday.

Yeah, thanks. As I sit here in Orange County California surrounded by about 15 million people I'm itchin' to get to deer camp. The rut may be winding down a bit but at least the season starts a week later which hopefully means it might be just a little bit colder than the last several years that have been fairly warm with not much deer movement becaise of the higher temps. Got a real nice 8pt last year so I hope to have even better luck this year.

That's a bear dude. I blew it up on my computer and I could make it out pretty well. Solid black body and you can make out the brown features around his mouth. As far as the track goes you can see the toes on the bottom. The pad doesn't look right but who knows about that. But I am telling you, I've had 6 people look at it on my computer when it was blew up and they have all individually said it was a black bear.

Well i have a tree stand about 30yds from where that pic was taken so maybe i will see it during the daylight.

I enhanced the photo and put some light on it. Hope it works. Definetly a bear.

Looks like a bear cub to me.:eek1::eek1::eek1: Better watch out for mama bear. Looks like it is walking towards the camera with front right leg forward. very cool to see that far North if in fact it is a bear.

ITS MAN BEAR PIG!!!
half man half bear pig!!!

I hunt in the Kiamichi Mtns in Oklahoma now and we have some black bears there too. I saw one 3 weeks ago.

I'd love to hunt in the Kiamichi Mountains. I currently hunt about 1.5-2 hours North of there (back roads) but I have seen topo maps of the area and it looks like it would be awsome as far as the steep terrain and valleys. Babyburb, do you have any pics of the hunts in that area? If so please post.
