What the heck is this?

No offense intended J, but I'm not in the least bit amazed that you've seen one of what ever it is before. I hope to have as many stories and to have seen as many things as you when I'm your age.

Heck, I just hope I'm still alive when I reach my age...................Oh Wait..........

I hope someone figures this one out soon. Its starting to really bug me. I swear I have had one in my hand before. If I remember right, the hook moves when you swing the handle up and down.

The more I think about it, I think I never saw one in use. I think there was one at our shop at the plant, and I picked it up from time to time and worked the handle.
But I don't think I ever saw it used and I'm not sure now if I knew what it was for.

I'm sure I asked, and was told, but if I don't actually see it in use, I tend to not remember.

I think you lift the handle and the hook moves back. Then you put it on something, and swing the handle down and it clamps something between the hook and the little bolt end.

But, unless its for moving bulls around by the nose, I don't know what its for.
And I'm pretty sure it not for bulls. That gadget looks different.
And I have used one of those.

Wait I just remembered, its for adjusting the upper control arm on SLA dodge front suspensions.

Camber and caster adjustments. I should know I have one

Yep that's what it does and the end rotates, if you pull out on it. It has holes to index the head.

Awesome! Thanks!

I'm sure I'll never need it but it's in the box just in case.

This tool is in the box at the fire station. We got a bunch of stuff donated to us. I found it when organizing stuff.

We have a box FULL of spare sockets and wrenches that are all duplicates of stuff in the box. You know it's bad when you are putting snap on, williams and SK sockets in a box because you already have several in the socket drawer.
