running 315/75R16 pathfinder tires and running around 32-34 pounds in them. See all these posts about people DD with 20 pounds in them, am I running too much? When I tow I pump them up to 45psi since trailering the race car adds some tongue weight to them on my 3/4 ton 88 suburban.

Tire pressure depends on a ton of different things (i.e. weight of the truck, make of the tire, bias or radial, width of the tire, etc.)

Put chalk powder across the width of the tire and then have it roll forward. Look at the footprint the tire leaves and adjust tire pressure accordingly.
