what to do for the rear corner molding on 91 k5

I purchased the complete molding kit from LMC trucks but apparently complete doesn't mean all the trim.
anywhere to get the rear corner pieces ?
they are screwed on so wish i had known that they were not included and i could have had the holes welded up before it got painted.

Discontinued #14027597 and 14027598. I have the ones I took off and I have the replacement ones still in the GM boxes. I bought those 14 years ago. I have not decided what I am going to put back on. I still have the holes and it was painted 14 years ago.
Don't know what the 1991 uses, side moldings changed in 1988.

I think those part numbers are the all metal style that fit most of the 80's. They fit directly under the tail-light so the trim can extend across the bottom of the tailgate. The 89-91 used the black ribbed trim with the chrome strip. Those corner moldings sit lower, so the bottom half is off the body. Only the top strip extends across the tailgate. Those are harder to duplicate and would take cutting some plastic or 3-D printing something to fill the gap. Part numbers should be 15618494 and 5. Don't know where to get them. FWIW I never had screw holes for mine, they've been held on with double sided molding tape for over a decade, although I did remove them to paint once and then reapplied with new tape.

You should definitely ask for some when someone is parting out an 89-91. Used may be the only option?

Those part numbers are discontinued also. Only place to get one is off another 89-91

Good luck finding some. Any time I see a truck being parted here or on FB I ask about them but I have yet to have anyone actually check and reply back. I love that trim but I think at some point I'm going to pull mine off and go without.

i still have the ones off of my k5 but the chrome part isn't looking so good

Same as mine, the chrome is peeling and yellow.
