I have been buging this guy to sell to me for a while. finally called me. not sure what to offer him thow. heres some specs:

91 burban from the air force. came from down south. no rust at all. nice paint straight and clean. has a 6.2 in it that is shot i think. cant get it to turn over. its a 4spd auto so i think its a 4l80e with a 241 tc. its a 3/4 ton burban. he said its 4.10 gears, but that is what i was told about my 88 and that has 3.73s from when i pulled the cover. all the little stuff works.

91 crewcab this is a VERY nice truck. first one i have ever saw too. its a fully loaded crewcab. I saw one on here for sale not to long ago. other then that never saw one in person. nice and clean as well. has a newer 6.5 TD in it with a 4l80e. other than that its all stock. runs, shifts fine. not sure on gears.

I am going to try for both these trucks. was going to offer 1700 for the burban and 3k for the crewcab. since its a 1 ton and all that. is this fair?

Anyone, have a idea what is fair? i really need to get back to this guy!! Am i in the ball park at least?? Any help would be great!!

It's hard to say without seeing pics but, imo, if you can get them for what you said they'd be a smokin deal.

Well, am i as least fair? OK if its a good deal that cool and all. this guy is a good friend to me and my family. i thought the sub was fair with a bad motor. should i offer him more like 4k for the crewcab?

3K would almost be a steal for the CC, but I wouldn't feel bad about it...:p: I'd say that the CC is a much better option with the 6.5 and what should be a D60 if no one's fooled with it. Crew cabs are just better too. :D

to tell you the truth the more i think about it not sure what i would even do with a crew cab. will see how it goes i guess

is the crew cab a silverado or a stripped down army truck. if it has power windows, locks and other options get it.

the crew cab is a silverado. first one i ever saw other then yours. trying to get them

Well when I went to check out a craiglist add for a "1-ton", I didn't know it was a CC. I got there and was disappointed, cause it was a smoking deal, but I thought "what am I going to do with a crew cab?" I thought it was too big, and would just be a pain in the butt. I completely changed my mind though, I LOVE my crew cab now. I don't think I could go back at this point.

Yeah, I tow a lot of stuff with it. The longer the better for towing. The built 454 is pretty sweet in it too, really makes a 6.2 look like a dog. The 6.5 ought to be decent though.

Might pass on the crew. going to get the burban. friend found a 91 crew with a ctd in it. i would really like to get that one now.
