What type of grease to use on window regulator?

For the roller tracks, I would look for something that is plastic safe, like a silicone grease. White Lithium is often used on plastic parts, but there are different kinds out there. Really, you want the plastic wheels turning in the track, not sliding in it, so it's the center hubs that should get the lube.

For where the teeth mesh together, it seems like you can use anything that stays in place.

Slap some grease between the coils of the spiral assist spring as well. It tends to get rusty and binds up. The friction in the coil spring is responsible for a lot of the degradation of window speed on our trucks.

I've seen white lithium used for that many, many more times than anything else..

I'd use something like a silicone grease, and sparingly only where its needed..Wheel bearing or chassis grease is too thick and will get stiff at low temperatures, and also attract and trap any dirt that gets in the door..

White lube is what I see most often in power windows ,but some of it isn't good,it dries up and hardens over time and can make the mechanism sluggish ...a friend has tried using the garage door roller lube made by P.B. Blaster and says it seems to work well..(I don't know if thats silicone or petroleum based )..

White lithium. I found it was more important to get the plastic wheels to spin. I lubed the tracks after replacing the motors and the windows were still slow to move. Took it back apart and saw the wheels were all crudded up w/ old grease and wouldn't move. I cleaned them up w/ dish soap and warm water, gave them a shot of lithium and the windows ran like new.

When I went through mine, I soaked the wheels with PB blaster and worked them free (they were completely seized), then soaked with PB again. I coated the tracks and the wheels with white lithium grease. It's worked well and held up for the past 2 years or so

i am about to change my rear window to manual and i have used white lithium in a spray can before with great results, and will use again

Fluid film. Like hot sauce I put that $hit on everything.
