That guy is an idiot. The line is to the right of him and he isn't listening to his spotter for crap not that his spotter appears to be very good. Plus when you start to lift a tire that hard wouldn't it occur to you to pop neutral or reverse and bring it down?
Hells gate isn't even very hard if your on the right line.

I stand corrected. I watched a girl in a stockish XJ run that pretty easy with only a rear locker and 33's. She listened to her spotter and pretty much walked it.
All that lady had to do was push in the clutch and she would have been fine.

Ya, what's up with giving it gas when you are going up and over? I realize it is easy if you are on the right line.....but that doesn't make it any less butt pinching!

I had that same thought when I was down there looking at the gate. She did wheel the rest of that weekend and did do a great job. She was no rookie on that run either. just shows it can happen to anyone
