What kind of adapter will I need to run this transmission? Also, I'm carbureted with a TH400 right now, I won't need anything electronic will I?

Is it a 4l60 or a 4l60E. If it is a 4l60E then you will need the computer to tell the Tranny when to shift. Other than that it is identical to a 700r4. If your 208 is behind your 400 you will need to change the T-case input gear to 27 spline.

Its a 4L60E. So theres no way around getting a computer to tell it when to shift? I thought I had heard about something you can buy to put on it to make it shift itself on here. Also, is there another transfer case I can get to work with the tranny like a 205 or 241?

Any T-case from a 700R4 will be a direct bolt up to the 4l60/4l60E. You have to have a computer for the 4l60E to work properly. It can be a standalone computer but you still have to have one. Give the guys at Bowtie Overdrives a call they specialize in 700R4, 4l60E, 4l80E trannies.
