If you had couple spare 2 1/2 ton Rockwells an tractor tires you could always turn it into a mega truck.

Not sure how the laws are in your state,but here,after I think 3 months,Medicaid stops paying for nursing home bills--the nursing home will put a lien on the home and "own" it ,they can and do force the remaining family out of it unless they can pay them some other way..

My mom passed away about a month before the 90 day deadline,had she not,we would have been forced to either sell the house,or let them take it..the nursing home already had the paperwork all drawn up ,ready to go too...if I hadn't found a good lawyer that specializes in trusts and estate matters,I'd be homeless (and dead by now,probably)..
Also 5K a month is cheap--here a nursing home costs around 14K a month...:yikes:...unless you have a mansion,a home wont pay for the nursing home for very long..

Sorry to hear about your dad,that is sad,my mom started showing signs of dementia long before she got ill 13 years before she died..its very emotionally disturbing to see your parents get that way..
 
If I had a couple of Rockwell's they'd be going on my burb lol... I think I'll beat it for a while, THEN decide... I gotta make it run anyway
 
His house is not an issue because he owes so much and it's worth so little... We're walking away from it and letting the bank have the house back. Dhs doesn't want it because they can't make any money on the deal.
 
Do you like shooting? The make this stuff called tannerite that explodes whem you shoot it. Totally legal. You could fill the truck with it and blow it up?
 
Now THAT would be fun....! I'm too poor and don't even have a place to shoot a pistol, let alone disintigrate a truck lol... Definitely a good mental video though :)
 
I vote for mudders and go have fun with it. No need to care about the body. Just sucks about having to spend some money on steering and stuff to get it to that point though. Sorry about the issues leading to this.
 
It's got new tires on it.... I won't buy more... Just run em. It'll be more of a gravel slider than 4x4 if I beat on it... I can't stand being stranded when I break down, which it'll do lol. That's why I never wheel the burb. No one to wheel with to help me get unstuck or give me a ride if I break something. And the only places for me to 4wheel in my area are a minimum 40min ride from home.
 
If I built the bush beater with a cage it would be just to protect me when I'm sliding around gravel roads, and look odd n scary doing it.

I don't get 16year old crazy or dangerous to others when I do any more. Only corners I can see both sides of and such

That's exactly what I mean by a bush beater lol. Take all the body off, build a cage, and have fun. Done right I can even get it licensed. I have 80' of 2" DOM that I'm not totally sure what to do with..... My plan for it was do the exact same thing but on a cucv k30 chassis. This trucks free and cucvs are getting 3-4 grand at least. I guess if I built a cage for this it can always be modified for the cucv later in life
 
Thinking about it at the sum of it's parts, the only thing to complain about would be the TTB Dana 44 under the front.
 
We had a huge Bday party for my dad Saturday and my uncle and me got to talking about the truck. He said he'd buy it so that I didn't have that to worry about too and handed me cash...... Worked for me lol. I gave some to my oldest son, and used the rest to replace the vacation money I got into for his party.

Not what I expected, but it worked :waytogo:
