What year K5 do you recommend?

Get yourself an old one so smog is not an issue. Also I love the round headlights and bold front end. But if u go old make sure it is full convertiable. Mine is a 78 half top. Grrrrr... I got ripped off by a few years. Everyone always asks is that full removable top. Sadly it is not. As soon as I roll it over it will become full convertable. :D

I'm partial to the 89 -91.I love that front end. Also for stock GM did upgrade the 28 spline axles to 30 spline.Just my .02$ :D

TBI is better than TPI for a trail driven truck: lower idle speed, lower torque curve. TPI is great for a camaro, but TBI rules the trail.

You do have a cool rig though. You prob'ly need the TPI power to spin those big meats...

OK, but did he say it was only a trail driven truck? Im guessing not since he would like an OD tranny and something to get decent mileage.

Thanks. NO, I could spin them when it was carbed.

I like 'em all....

Anyone have any extra's they just can't stand looking at.. push 'em on over to my house.. they're always welcome.

Repeat after me.. "there is no such thing, as a bad year for Blazers..."

YEAH, Pauls got one i really can't stand lookin at when i'm over there, needs a black painted grille too... :haha:

:D :D

1st gen. only because they look cool.

If its rusted, cut it up. Swap in some fuel injection so it will run upside down. Dont worry about fuel economy with a big full size rig, its a mute point.

Right now I have a 97 2 door tahoe but I'm looking to get something for fun and that would be nice in the summer that is pretty cheap. I'm likin the '75 k5, what'd ya think? With a 12 bolt rear and a 350, plus a little lift I could also take it wheelin pretty nicely right? Thoughts?

Oh i forgot to mention. I really like that total removable top so that's why I'm likin the '75.
