What year?

The 396 was a family favorite. My uncle had a 69 chevelle SS convertible with a 396. That would be my pick. My dad bought a new gmc 2wd in 72, in 73 he swapped in a 396. Other uncle, these are all brothers, bought a new shortbed stepside, I think it was a 76, promptly swapped in a 396. Had 35’s on it. I drove that truck to my senior prom. You can see the 72 in the background… barely. Taken 42 years ago.

It would be fun to go back and walk around a car lot full of brand new '71 Cuda. Get to see all the options and colors.

Well this is a fun thread. I'd go back to way before my time. '62 or '63 Z11 Impala would definitely be my choice.
It’s one of those interesting rarities I would love to see in person, especially show-room-fresh

In high school there was a guy a couple years out of school that had a Hemi Cuda.
Let me tell ya the mid 70’s were an awesome time for muscle cars…everyone was getting rid of them due to the OPEC gas crisis, bad fuel mileage, continuing emission controls, high insurance premiums, and the age of the cars (4-10yrs old).
Having driven or rode with friends that had BB cars and solid lifter small blocks, I’ve never been in a true Hemi car.
So Hemi Cuda!

The first truck my dad was able to buy new.
94 c1500 4.3 single cab step side.
I bought a 93 c1500 4.3/5speed in great shape from an old farmer for $300.
Gave it to my dad and he drove that thing daily for years. Good trucks for sure.

My pick would be a '66 Fairlane GT 4 speed
Same color as this one.
Which would also be the first thing I would buy if I won the lotto lol.

Ok, hear me out, I want to know what a new car from the 50s or '60s smelled like.
I've been in plenty of classic cars that have that old car smell. Of course it's been an acquired scent from an accumulation of the years, but what about those same cars fresh from the factory?

I would probably die quickly in a 427 Cobra.
This was my chance in 2015, but they wouldn't let me drive it!

That’s completely part of the idea, experience these cars that we all love, but in fresh of the line form

Ooh. Ooh.... I forgot about this!

This would be an absolute monster...
Suzuki's 98 pikes peak car.
Just over 1700#,
AWD mid engine,
With right at 1000hp

And it already has a cage for when I inevitably smash the **** out of it lol
