Whatchya building for BB16?

Ben, are you sure aluminum links and tie rod are a must?

:D
Not needed but the tierod I had made was short, so I tossed on my dom tiered.

The links would be nice cause I goofed the threads a bit up when I installed the Johny joints.

You must attend.

I will even if I have to kick one of Keith's kids or his brother out of a passenger seat.

My wife and I had a serious I need to get the tow rig running and Horton done discussion. She was pretty supportive so making a plan right now.

When did this start? Does this mean you are retiring there some day?
Having the house plans redrawn and have chosen a builder, bought 1.9 acres in December. This time I am paying to have it built instead of doing it myself. Yep we will be staying. No plans on retiring, but nice to know I can at the end of the year if I want!!!

That many already? You seem so young!

I dream of having our entire fleet running all at the same time at some point this year so we should have something to drive that's ready. Bringing the cheap truck might be fun, the convertible is way fun always (and is mostly ready now but still needs some tuning), the '99 is nice when it's hot since the AC works...
I thought about trying to get it all down there for BB16 but finding drivers and/or trucks and trailers can get tough.
I guess we'll see how this quest plays out.
The list of trail rigs: (doesn't count all the tow rigs, DDs and trailers that need work right now)
Wally
Convertible K30
Cheegro (99 K2500)
Cousin Willard
Cheap Truck
Black Truck ('04 2500HD SAS)
Jiggy the K5 (beat up 1-ton/6.2L diesel trail rig)

I just put on a set of 39.5X16.5-17 Pit Bull Rockers and 17x9.5 Allied bead-locks this past weekend. If I don't get them sold before BB16 I will have some well used 37X13.5-17 Pit Bull Rockers and 17X10 MRW wheels (non bead-lock) for sale at BB this year.

If you need help, I can volunteer to wheel one of them for the weekend.

I'm kicking around building a new swaybar arm, maybe a cup holder mounted up again. You know big sh!t.

In reality I'll scramble just to get the battery charged and headed to BB.

It is a ways off, but if you are serious, meet me at the 70 with a loaded trailer. I will drag it out there. If I can haul a suburban to Salt Lake City behind Frankenliner with the Jimmy on it, I could haul one of yours.

image.jpeg image.jpeg Last night I got it backed in the garage and up on jack stands. Time For the torch and grinder. The Dana 60 sas is about to begin! Should have all the IFS bull****cut out and frame cleaned up by the weekend. Then comes the Offroad Design sas kit. Hoping this goes as smooth as my last build.

Thanks, I'll check out Riley's Green Machine build.

I haven't started a build tread of my own. I'm such a newbie on this site that I haven't quite figured out how to do that just yet.
