not all wired up yet but close...

how about a
msd 6al with 6000rpm rev limiter pill
&
msd ignition control module????
I could cut all the wires alot shorter and do away with a mess of that mess.... but I want to get it running first before shortening anything!!!!!!

duhhhh on my hands... :haha:
got those leather gloves with the cutoff fingers and cutout knuckles...

funny thing is that there is a kid in my auto class whose mommy and daddy bought him a pos bmw and he "races" it...and wears these gloves when driving around normally:doah: :haha:

Ummm...

Gas reciets, Dunkin Donuts napkins, cassette tapes, diskman, a can of Axe, vacuum caps, and registration.

I like your glovebox more than mine. I don't think I could even find my registration if I needed to.

well my glove box is currently in the bed of the truck so there can be any number of random things in it depending on how it slides around.

STRANGE THINGS! see my other thread. funny, I come in to report this finding, and theres a thread on gloveboxes, AND heater cores! Does everyone look at the same parts the same time?

Does'nt anybody keep their winch remote in there or am I the only one?

NICE!!!!!!

also look im not a post whore!!!!!! grouping them al together!!!!!

I'm afraid the contents of your glovebox would have no affect on my truck!
mostly just a bunch of junk floating around in mine. probably a good time to clean it out again! the wife likes to save napkins in there like they're gonna be $100 bills one day.

I actually have one of those in my Astro van, but haven't picked one up for the Blazer yet. May just attach it to the top of the center console, since I only need the registration, and insurance cards. What are the NJ lift papers? Is that something like emissions? I have heard of those things, glad I live in a portion of Utah that doesn't require anything beyond safety inspection.

I followed figure 9 of this

http://msdignition.com/pdf/8680_frm%2024828.pdf

my question..
the truck cranks over and over but doesnt appear to get spark...
I noticed in the figure 9 upper right corner it says...

Note: If using a magnetic pickup trigger, the White
Trigger Select Loop must be cut. See page 2.

well it says if using a magnetic pickup trigger.... well isnt that what I plugged into inside of the distributor?

what are the basic troubleshooting steps I need to follow?
verify at the msd which wires are hot, etc.....

I have followed every wire thoroughly on that diagram and it just is not getting spark....

any ideas???

4 - 11" zip ties

tube of Black gasket maker
roll of electrical tape
