what's it worth...? Kinda

hey all... in the next couple weeks i'm going to pick up a 465/205 out of a '72 Chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 at my local junkyard... i'm going to build a doubler (not sure which yet) and i've heard that the older style 205 is more rare than a newer stlye, like in my '86... anyone know a ball-park to what the older one is worth...? i 'think' it goes - the older ones have a round patter, and the newer ones are figure-8, right...? my '86 205 would probably be better used in a 203 OR 241/205 doubler, right...?

to build a 203/205 doubler your gonna need a 465-203.

the older np205's are not rare. they are the figure 8 style.

the newer ones are the round pattern. if anything those are rare, if at all.

the 72 4x4 is probably more rare than any 205. Buy the whole truck!

i wish i could buy the whole thing, but they don't let whole vehicles leave the lot... maybe i'll see if i can get a few friends to buy all the pieces at different times...
