I got the draglink and tierod from ORD. Beefy!! They came with rodends.
Yes they are beefy, although I should have ordered the 2" tierod....mine has a slight bow to it now.
The TRE's are listed as not included on the website.
But, if you are doing cross over on a stock/mild build on a budget, just run your stock tie rod. and you dont need to get the ends for less than the price of ORD's from NAPA for your draglink because they come with the draglink kit.

$475 on ORDs website for crossover but then it also looks like you need to get a part machined to make it work $70 for ORD to do it add shipping its probably an extra $110. Plus you got to buy a 2wd steering box.
That's a little spend, does it make that much of a difference? I don't mind spending money on good products but probably not needed for my application.
I know very little about the steering components. I think I'm going to snap a picture of what I have now and maybe some of you can recommend what can be upgraded to prevent my wandering. I already know nothing of mine is loose or worn out already been through all that. I even have the ORD steering brace.

I've started to embrase my wondering truck. It keeps these city slicker homos from fallowing me to close. Of course, my steering is pretty tight now. I have some of the usual bump steer. Most of the wandering is me. I'm always looking in peoples back yards for lonely chevys, or day dreaming about getting home and opening a beer...

Pictures of your steering setup would help. Drag link ends would be my first bet if you don't have a raised steering arm and dropped pitman arm with a 6" lift. My Sub had bad death wobble with worn drag link ends.

I will post up some pictures tomorrow, I have new drag links, front and rear. I looked at the way they were sitting and they are pretty much level
The draglink ends (or tie rod ends) are part of all of our crossover steering kits, if that's what you mean. Why did you think they weren't included?

Are you suggesting using a tie rod as a draglink?
There are off the shelf ends the will work with our parts but our ends aren't anything you can find in a parts store. They have a longer shank (more adjustability) and they can take more angle.
I think you meant $425 not $475
With a 2-6" lift on a street only truck, it's not necessary. The correct steering parts will work fine.
With any kind of suspension that flexes offroad you will want crossover regardless of how much lift you're running.
With 10" or more crossover is a necessity (well, you can physically bolt the steering up with some steering correction pieces but it doesn't work well at all).

Definitely no problem to do crossover without messing with the tie rod, they are both independent parts of the steering system and the tie rod can be changed whenever. No change in price, no buying parts twice.
High steer is the only thing that could be different but that can be added any time later, no buying parts twice.

I got some of my part's here: www.wfoconcepts.com I thought they were geat products and my part's got to my door in 2 day's. I would recomend them to anyone.
