What\'s this

Just reading the Tuff Country install article and I noticed this brace on the UAV from the inner fender to the frame. What is this for? Just trying to expand my knowledge /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

More than likely it is a mount for a roll cage . It's better to attach it to the frame and most likely did not want to put holes in the floor board.

roll cage mount is my vote this time too. its not that he didn't want to cut a hole but rather its a roll cage to frame mount with a bushing in there, rather than a solid mount.

It just works as if you wanted to mount your cage right to the frame, but dont want to have it thin in the back and all. Like a mount like everyone else said.
